What we collect, and why

Who we are

LaSihra is a Saudi company that creates games whose material is the Arabic language. This policy applies to this website and to Arabic Hero.

The first rule: you can play without giving us anything

Playing as a guest does not require an account, name or email. You enter the room and play. We do not retain your statistics and you do not appear on the leaderboard. This is the default option, and the one we prefer for you.

What we collect if you create an account

• Name or username — so friends can recognise you in a room and on the leaderboard.
• Email address — for sign-in and account recovery.
• Age or age range — to determine whether an account is permitted and to tailor content.
• Game results — points, streaks and progress, so you can see them on your profile.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts or anything from your files.

Children

Creating an Arabic Hero account is available to people aged 13 and over.

Children under 13 play as guests. We do not collect their name, email or any information that identifies them.

If we discover that an account was created for a child under 13, we will delete the account and its data. A parent or guardian may request this at any time through the contact page, without conditions.

When the game is used in a classroom, the default is for students to play as guests, so no student data is collected.

Why we collect it

• To operate rooms, scores and leaderboards.
• To show your progress on your profile.
• To fix faults and understand which categories confuse players, so we can improve them.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

Who can access it

We use technical service providers to operate the game and website, including hosting and database providers. They may access data only to the extent needed to provide the service, and may not use it for another purpose.

We do not disclose your data to any other party unless required by law or court order.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while the account remains active. If you delete it, your personal data is deleted. Anonymous statistical data that cannot identify you may remain.

Your rights

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and its data.
• Withdraw consent and return to guest play.

Request any of these through the contact page. We will respond within 30 days at the latest.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only: those that keep you signed in to the game and remember your light or dark theme choice on this website. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. No one can promise absolute security on the internet, and we will not promise what we cannot guarantee.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes. We will update the date above and notify you in the game if a change is material.
